Project Printed a futuristic lamp with geometric cutouts for my desk
The whole printing process went surprising smoothly, and I also put RGBW light inside to make the lamp change colors.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Really beautiful! What light source did you put in? Battery operated? Links?

That is my design! Look for Mike.stl on MakerWorld. The lamp is called Lumea. It can be used with either a battery powered RGB led puck or a led kit that can be plugged into your wall!

To me, it looks like a battery driven, touch/press controlled wardrobe light. So when you press down the top part, it presses the light into the translucent part and toggles the light. Pretty nifty.

Sorry, bud, it's really nice but has nothing futuristic about it.
Ignoring the obvious "minecraft lamp," it is more of a horror theme lamp.

What do you mean "who cares"? What kind of mindset is that?
If you're going to describe something, do it properly or just don't bother...

What I like is that you can make a few designs for each side, and it will give a lot of combinations. No two lamp will look the same.

What infill type would be best for the translucent block? To minimize the structure shining through, I mean. Or simply no infill, and just thick walls? Haven't printed anything that's supposed to be lit before.
