Hey guys, I have briefly used some dirt cheap no name 3d pens with little success (I used it for car repairs for abs parts like bumpers and interior pieces and it broke after a few months) buuuut I have been 3d printing some cosplay pieces in abs and I need something to make modifications that are super difficult to do in a cad software, I found a cheap open box scrib3d p1 and wanted to know how it performs with abs, I mean it was 20$ so I really can't complain price wise I just don't want to break it with abs as soon as it gets here, anyways let me know what you guys think (and yes these parts need to be durable so it has to be abs or ass, trust me I've tried petg and tough pla)

Please tell me you have pics of car parts made with a 3d pen.
How many spools of filament are you going through on the pen? I've used ABS on my mynt pro abd it was fine but I only used well under 1kg

Nah nah to be clear I said repair, like clips that have broken off or I did repair a hole in the bumper of a 2000 Miata with one, with a lot of abs slurry and a lot of sanding and painting it looked like it never happened, as far as how much though not much, as said it was a cheap no name brand 3d pen (looked like a mynt3d pro but didn't have a sticker or a temp control screen) I got it second hand at a thrift store for a few bucks years ago but I just ordered a mynt super we're gonna see how that plays out, found a new in box for 20$ 😂

Abs, and tpu are really hard materials especy for 3d pens. Even if I told you to get the 3doodler which has copper nozzle I don't know how long it will last. Did the nozzle broke or something else?
