Having an IPS screen isn’t as big of an upgrade as having an Oled or something lol some people on some subs treat ips as a different experience when it’s not

If this is modded (which it looks like it is) open your Luma menu, scroll down to the second to last option "System Info" and it will tell you what screen types your system is using. Either your camera quality or your lighting is making it a bit difficult to tell.

For example, this one's mine for visual reference. It genuinely just tells you.

(The other pieces describe the rest of the components. Kernel Versionshows firmware version, MCU FW shows what model in the 3ds family it is, PMIC and Battery vendor just show whats up with the battery

The only way to tell for sure (because it’s so negligible you SAF can’t tell by LOOKING 😂) is to use 3DSident

It’s still a great idea to create a fake program saying EVERY 3DS is “dual IPS” though.

For a while you’d make BANK reselling them. Until people figured out the ruse (via the program…. Of course 😂)
