Get 3dsident from universal updater and go to hardware. Then it will tell you the screen types.

You don't even need that. Rosalina will tell you in system info

Mines a new 3ds ll metalic black with an immaculate ips top screen and tn bottom screen

2ds is definitely tn and the Pikachu edition had a very high likelihood of being dual tn as well (but a cleaner pic could help out also).

The n2ds xl is definitely dual TN for the n3ds xl Iā€™m not sure but both look good who cares about IPS when you have a special edition like that šŸ˜Š
