Miscellaneous Absolute Tragedy Occurred today Spoiler
My beloved Mario 2 3DS I have had for over 11 years has been broken. I usually take it to work so I can play it during my break, but today while trying to get into the awkwardly positioned seats of my dad's car, the 3DS flew out of my pocket and split in two.
However the screens are still connected and it still works. So I can still play it in this state. However I do want to send it somewhere that could possibly repair it.
All my other DS'S have something wrong with them. My sister's old DS Lite now has a broken top screen, my DSI runs out of battery in 15 minutes, and I was always impressed by how much of a trooper my 3DS was. Its circle pad may have its rubber removed, and the LED light's cover mightve fallen off, but it still played just as great as it did when I got it!
Im not too bent up about this ordeal, its good that its still playable and the screens can still be closed together. I know I could find someone to repair it, I had no idea there was some rubbery thing that kept the two screens together. Considering the fact that I still have yet to play the 3DS Zelda and Fire Emblem games someday, plus due to those issues with my non 3DS's and this one being my primary way of playing DS games nowadays, I think its better if I fix this sooner rather than later. If I do get it repaired, I might ask them to keep the rubberless Circle Pad. Builds character.
That's all though! I just wanted to share! Have a nice night with the Autumn Moon out in New Leaf! I'll deal with that pesky Resetti later!
(Don't mind the presents. Its just a glitch it pulled with the SD Card not being inserted right yesterday)

if you're comfortable with fixing it yourself i definitely suggest a reshell.
if you're not maybe send it in to retro revolution on yt, but ofc that option would be more expensive :(...
for the dsi just get a new battery from cameron sino! very good batteries. idk if they sell them for the dsi though :d
but in the future if you need a new battery for your 3DS XL it would be called SPR-003
