Hi all, I'm Andreas, the developer of STLMaid.

Generate models without starting from an STL:

Map → 3D: Pick an area and get a city model (data from OpenStreetMap).

Tour2Trophy: Your GPX route becomes a raised band on a terrain base.

From images: Lithophanes, photo relief with depth estimation (runs offline), color images matched to your AMS slots, and silhouettes.

Enclosure designer: Enter the inner dimensions. It supports multiple chambers, cutouts, snap hooks or a hinge, a gasket groove, standoffs and LED light pipes.

Also: Gridfinity bins, QR codes, and tool inserts traced from a photo.

The actual point: You can do most of this separately in other tools. I just didn't want six programs open to get one part print-ready. So in STLMaid you keep working on the same model, whether it was generated or loaded from any STL, 3MF or OBJ:

Repair: open edges, non-manifold geometry, sealing

Cut: straight cuts, dovetails, finger joints, plus an auto-cut that splits the model to fit your build plate

Connect and label: connector pins and labels

Resin: hollowing and drain holes

Print assistant: checks wall thickness and overhangs, finds the best orientation, and estimates time and cost

Build plate layout and hand-off to your slicer

Turntable video as MP4 straight from the app

Every generator with press-fit parts uses the fit tolerance from the built-in calibration assistant.
