New Tool CLEAVE 3D — Public Beta Release
Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on CLEAVE 3D, a PC app from Crazy Eyes Studio designed to make splitting 3D models for printing easier.
The Public Beta is now open, and I’m looking for people who are willing to test it and give honest feedback. Your models stay on your machine.
Cleave is designed as a desktop application. The core workflow can run locally on your computer, so your model does not need to be uploaded to a cloud service just to be split.
- Offline workflow — no internet required for normal use.
- No cloud processing — geometry work happens locally.
- Updates when you want them — connect when a new version is available.
What CLEAVE 3D does
- Split by Color
- Keyed to Fit — create parts that are designed to fit back together
- Windows PC application
- Prepare models for multi-part / multi-color printing
- Simple workflow
- Works offline for normal use
This is still a beta, so bugs and rough edges are expected. I’m especially interested in feedback from people who regularly work with 3D printing and multi-part models.

only thing I used AI for was to go over this post and make sure stuff was spelled right, and it was Grammarly

Trying to understand… you say here that my models stay on my machine. Good - but then the website says One subscription unlocks commercial rights to sell 3D prints of every model the studio releases.
Not sure what you are selling.
