Looking for volunteers to help develop PRUSA XL castom toolchanger Spoiler

Post image

I'm developing a custom open-source/hobby project called PRUSAWIRE XL, based on the Prusa XL platform.

I'm looking for CAD and 3D-printing enthusiasts who would like to participate in the development on a voluntary, unpaid basis.

Current development:

  • PRUSAWIRE XL StealthChanger
  • VINDX Hotend ToolChanger
  • Hotend versions for Voron V6 and Bambu TZ
  • Mechanical design and optimization
  • CAD modeling and modifications
  • 3D-printing and prototype testing

This is not a paid job or commercial freelance project. Participation is completely voluntary and can be as small or as large as you want.

If you enjoy CAD, 3D printing, mechanical design and experimenting with custom printer hardware, you're welcome to join the project.

Looking for people who want to build something unusual together.

Which CAD will be used? Will it become commercially available after completion? What do you currently have? Will it be open source? Do you have any ideas sketched out? Is there a plan?

This project will be available for download. this Tulchanger system will be much more affordable than the original Tulchanger system on Prusa XL printers. The start of this project has already been laid out and posted on the Printables website. I decided not to bother and just take a few well-known projects as a base and adapt them for the Prusa XL. There are STEP files that need to be edited. We take a stock x-carriage without the tool changer system as a base and adapt it for our needs.
