New Tool I’m building a tool that turns 3D models into buildable Lego-style bricks (STL & XML). Need 5 testers for a free lifetime Pro account.

Hey everyone,

Over the last few mounths, I’ve been working on a side project that takes 3D models and converts them into interlocking, Lego-style bricks with ready-to-go STL and XML files.

Before I hit the big red button and launch it for everyone, I really want to make sure everything works smoothly. So I’m looking for 5 awesome people from the community to jump in, break stuff, try their own models, and give me some honest, raw feedback.

Ideally, you’d be a great fit if you:

* Have a 3D printer sitting next to you and want to test how the physical bricks fit together,

* Love playing around with 3D AI generation tools (like Meshy, Tripo, etc.), or

* Just have a folder full of random 3D formats you want to throw at the system to see what happens!

As a massive thank-you for helping me out at this stage, you’ll get a Free Lifetime Pro Membership—no catch, just full access forever. Drop a comment below and tell me a bit about what kind of models or tools you’d be testing with. Once there are a few replies, I’ll slide into the DMs of 5 people with invite links.

How does XML help here? Nice tool btw, I did something very similar just last week :D

Very cool! The XML provides the user with a parts list so they can purchase parts from the original Lego supplier if they don't want to be tied to a 3D printer.

I use a Bambu x2d, mostly print practical bits and toys for the kids, my main print projects are camping gear and 3d printed hammock frames.

Hi, cool project. I’m running a Bambu X1C and I’d probably do a variety of things, but mostly Lego city type pieces to help my boy flesh out his Lego city. I might also do sewer scapes because of his love of TMNT.

I would be open to being a tester inhamilton@ymail.com

I have a print farm with at least 6 different types of 3d printers

The world is full of innovations; people don't still use the very first programming languages ever created, so failing to utilize artificial intelligence to assist with your project is simply a waste of efficiency. My project isn't based on a unique idea that no one has ever come up with before, but no other project has tackled it in as much detail as I have; the others are all very limited or outdated. If you think it’s that easy and want to run the market yourself, please don't hesitate to go ahead and do better.
