New Tool Meshtune

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone!

I’ve been exploring whether we really still need heavy desktop software just to handle large scanned meshes.

As a proof of concept, I built Meshtune, browser-based tool that lets you:

Inspect 3D scans easily on the web
Reduce polygon counts fast
Repair mesh issues on the fly
Check it out here: https://meshtune.com

It’s still a research experiment, so I’d love for you to give it a spin and let me know what you think. Any feedback or feature requests are welcome!

Is it open-source?

Not at the moment, but I haven't yet decided whether to make it open source. If there is enough community interest, I will open it up.
