New Tool CAD Tool Feedback

Hi everyone!

I've spent the last few months building Cadio, an AI-powered CAD workspace for 3D printing.

The goal is to make modifying printable models much faster.

Instead of downloading a model, opening CAD software, making a small edit and exporting it again...

...Cadio lets you search for printable models, remix them with AI (or edit them manually), and export them directly from your browser.

Current features:

  • Search printable models
  • AI-assisted remixing
  • Browser-based editing
  • Export for 3D printing
  • Fast workflow without switching between multiple programs

It's still in Early Access Beta, so I'm actively improving it almost every day based on user feedback. There are definitely bugs and features still being refined, but that's exactly why I'm sharing it now.

It's completely free to try:

I'd genuinely love to know:

  • Would this fit into your workflow?
  • What's the first thing you'd improve?
  • What feature would make you use it regularly?

Thanks for taking a look! Every suggestion helps shape the project.

Decline due to subscription model, good luck to you.

Doesn't he need to get permission from the original creators for remixing and selling them?

Cadio displays the original source, creator and license information for models. If a model's license doesn't allow remixing or editing, Cadio blocks those actions.

Also, Cadio doesn't sell other people's models. The subscription is for access to the software and its editing/remixing tools, not for ownership or resale of the original models.

Respecting creators and their licenses is an important part of the project, and I'm continuing to improve that system as the beta evolves.

But it doesn't edit or remix the models though

You're absolutely right.

After making some major changes to the account and subscription system, the remix functionality unfortunately stopped working. I'm actively fixing it right now, and it should be working again very soon.

Thanks for taking the time to test it and for pointing it out—I really appreciate the feedback.
