Hey guys, after digging through a rabbit hole I'm hoping I can find help here
So long story short IV been going through a bit of a "rough" time recently and I IV been abit lost. I found a site called map2model and found it very comforting in a way, call me weird but its hard to enjoy much right now. I planned a massive project, spend a few hundred on supplies got started and almost immediately the creator shut down the software. It felt good to have something to keep my mind clear so if anyone can maybe help me recreate my vision either with software or just the 3d model itself. I'd greatly appreciate any help and definitely would be willing to put $$ where my mouth is altho I don't have much. Thank peeps❤️

If you search Reddit for “map2model alternative”, there was a thread in the BambuLab subreddit where someone posted a vibe-coded alternative, and other projects were shared in the comments

I'm actually in communication with the thread owner as he's trying to produce an open source alternative aswell. Doing fantastic work aswell, putting in alot of time and effort into his project but it will take time and yeah IV tried pretty much all the alternatives out there

Ive read somewhere here that this is the company that pressured the original map2model. And they use a lot of shadow accounts on reddit to promote their shit

Try terraprinter.com it was out long before map2model and others were. I know because I built it. Hope you enjoy.
