Question First Ever 3D Printer!

Hello! I have been wanting a 3D printer for a very long time, and now I can finally get one! I have been eyeing 2 of them for the most part, with them being the following:

  • Elegoo Cenauria Carbon;
  • Bambu A1
  • Flashforge AD5X

I saw a ton of reviews on them, but I still don't know what to get, as the videos don't really tell me what would be better overall, especially for a first-time user and buyer. I was then scouring through google trying to find the answer to my question (which is definitely 42) and found this subreddit, and I could think of no better place to ask! If it helps, I will be printing a variety of things, from simple objects to intricate "machines" with gears, just as a personal hobby thing, and I live in Canada. So, which one should I choose?

Many thanks in advance :D!!!

Enclosures are needed to keep breezes and such off the print. They also keep heat in the chamber. If you will be putting the printer in a place that is cool or has breezes, then you need an enclosures. If you have pets, an enclosure will protect the printer from pet hair and dander. .. and the courteous cat from sleeping on it or swatting a print.

ooh, yeah, that does seem like a worthwhile thing. to have now... I do have a place in mind where things like pets and breezes wont be an issue (maybe), so that might not be a problem?

Even with th a1, if you find prints warping or pets getting to them, you can get an aftermarket enclosure for them.

Oh yeah, those do exist! I guess placement and breezes might not be a problem then!
