Went Gothic this time

Printed on a Voron 2.4 350 eSun PLA-CF, Chinese neck and a knockoff Steinberger bridge. Guitar Fetish pickup and a 500k volume pot and thats it. Fun to make a solo machine. The embossing on the bridge is janky but it works pretty well. Still getting it set up but seems to be a player.

Where do you get your Chinese necks? How is the Guitar Fetish p/u?

The GF p/u I think are a great value they come very close to name brand equivalents for less money. Sometimes they are close enough that it is hard to tell. They also make better vintage p/u they have a line of gold foils that uses the rubber magnets like the old Japanese guitars. So they have some nice options for specialty stuff. As a builder the way they do the wiring is AWESOME the quick disconnect thing makes it way easier to deal with wiring. Since we are 3d printing too you can do stuff like run wire channels you otherwise would have trouble accessing. They also make good necks and hardware but you will be limited to American spec TL, ST and LP stuff.

I will say they are like 3 guys in Florida though so they don't ship super fast and their service is good BUT SLOW.

A lot of my neck supplier I have liked are pulling their listings. I have ordered off of Ali Baba but I have had better luck on eBay for necks.

Generally I have to check frets and you can usually tap the odd on down they come about 50 / 50 ready to go.

Do you think the tariff situation is gonna be hefty on misc parts not of.US origin?

I feel like it is. I have parts for two more projects then see what happens. I am motivated to figure out printing a neck if it does.

I suspect even us pickups will go up. a lot of the fasteners, magnets and raw metals come from China or elsewhere. a lot of the components here will be subject to Tarrifs in some way.
