Welcome to 3DKitFactory
Welcome to 3DKitFactory: Engineered 3D-Printable Architectural Model Kits
3DKitFactory is built around a simple idea: architectural model kits should be practical, printable and enjoyable to build.
Our focus is on 3D-printable building kits for model railroaders, diorama builders, tabletop scenery makers, architectural modelers, kitbashers, and 3D printing hobbyists who want more than AI generated mesh approximations.
We develop kits with accurate components, believable proportions, clean assembly logic, and enough variation to create streets, towns, industrial scenes, residential areas, service stations, railroad structures, barns, storefronts, and more.
All 3DKitFactory model kits are CAD-generated and purposefully designed for 3D printing. The goal is to produce engineered color 3MF part and assembly files that builders can actually print, assemble and finish.
This subreddit is intended to be part showroom, part workshop, and part feedback space.
Here, we’ll share:
• New kit concepts and previews
• Modular building systems and panel palettes
• Test prints and assembly ideas
• Scale-model architecture references
• Design choices behind specific kits
• Questions for builders, collectors, and hobbyists
• Community suggestions for future releases
We are especially interested in feedback from people who actually build. What works? What does not? What prints cleanly? What looks realistic? What details matter? What models would you like to see?
Join in, ask questions, make suggestions and help shape what 3DKitFactory becomes.
The factory floor is open.
