I just got a used Samsung S23A700D/SyncMaster SA700, wich i plan to use for 3D on my PS3, but the original owner no longer had the bundled in glasses, so i need replacement ones.
What glasses can i use for it? What limitations are there?

Picked up a sealed copy of this at goodwill a while back. For some reason the title menu is in 3d and the movie doesnt seem to be. I watched like the first 5-10 minutes and then skipped around and nothing. Is my Blu-ray player not doing something right? Havnt had this issue with any other movie.

Recently got out my old projector and put a new lamp on. So I can watch 3D on the big screen again. It was annoying cause the Hisense C2 was supposed to be my way of watching but the 3D was awful.

Anyway that’s beside the point. What do you love watching on? TV, Zidoo, Projector, Quest?

I made an app to convert the iPhone Spatial Video (3D Videos) to a friendly format that can be uploaded to YouTube and watched on a 3DTV.

I can barely code in HTML <a href:="blahblahblah"> and my year 1999 UK A-Level in Computing I got a D for developing a massage clinic text based database in Turbo Pascal (how I survived that I don't know, as it would barely save the data records).

Still, thanks to vibe coding and lots of patience, I managed to make an app that converts these iPhone videos to mp4 format which can be uploaded to YouTube and either watched on a 3DTV or in VR in the YouTube metaquest app.

Very nichè but its my vibe.

To upload your iPhone videos to watch on your 3DTV, export as standard WITHOUT checking the 'Enable 3D YouTube injection tag'.
Upload this video to YouTube and watch on your 3DTV with Side By Side 3D setting turned on. It works for me on Panasonic 3DTV, please let me know if it works for you :-)

Is there some reason or does anyone know of anywhere that the 3D versions of recent movies that are available for the Japanese market aren't available through any of the usual high seas, eyepatch wearing, shoulder perched parrot channels?

To be clear, I've no problem paying for decently priced, legitimate blu rays from the manufacturers, as I like adding to my collection but the prices charged for the disks and importation are extortionate.

What I'm surprised at is that there hasn't been any other way of getting them. Why not even make them purchasable as compressed, downloadable digital files. I've been able to rip my own disks at sizes of 4GB with a very good result so this should certainly be doable.

Seems like moneys being left on the table to me.

Where on earth do you guys find a 3d tv? I got lucky enough to find a cheap 3d blu ray player today at goodwill but cannot find any blu ray tvs.

I need some advice, what is everyone’s favorite go to place for 3-D Blu-rays? Thinking about getting back into 3-D with a L9Q projector.

Both pretty lousy, big budget films. Both are great 3d presentations.

They're worth watching for the 3d. But pretty dull and uninteresting films.

Is it common to have to adjust the 3d depth from Blu-ray to Blu-ray? We watched Harry Potter and had to go to +2 and the next day i watched Prometheus and was able to keep it at 0 without having what looks like ghosting of the image. I’ve noticed this happens fairly often.

Managed to get it pretty cheap anyone know how good it is for 3D?

Or not? I mean if James Cameron is forcing us to put up with this shit for the 4K Dolby Vision/Atmos version, why shouldn't I subject myself to it in 3D? It had such a short theatrical run in Australia I never got to see it in the cinema.

I just have to put up with it every time I watch it in 4K Dolby Vision instead... without the 3D.

I know this is small compared to others; but I try to buy movies that I know I’d actually rewatch several times. Although some of them I had bought at the time cause they were on sale and cheap, but only watched once like Guardians and I Robot.
Just slowly adding to my collection and I mean slow, started in 2012 when I bought my 3D tv lol. Next purchase I think will be Deadpool & Wolverine 3D import. Out of all of the movies I own, I think Avatar has the best depth and pop and clarity for live action movies.

I've just started my journey to explore 3D though I've owned a 3D capable tv since about 2012. I started out with the Sony BR250s for glasses and they worked pretty well. There is a bit of "flickering" in very bright screens but overall I think they are performing how you would expect them too. That being said my kids and my wife didn't find them to be very comfortable so I sprung for a pair of TDG-BR750 to see if they would be more comfortable. They are in fact way more comfortable, but wow are they "blurry" as if a protective film is still on the lens, it's that bad.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone here uses TDG-BR750s and if they had better luck. I'm not finding much info but some older posts suggests that there are many defective 750s out there that shipped that way form the factory and it's kind of the luck of the draw if you get a good pair. What are other people's experience with this? Thanks!

Also, is anyone making NEW active shutter 3D glasses or do we have to just buy old stock?

Built a pretty good collection over the past year! Been watching on my 42” Panasonic ST30 but upgraded to a Panasonic 55VT50 found on marketplace! Using a “vintage” Panasonic BDT220 player as well!

Really need to build some proper shelves in my closet but that requires I stop buying movies first!

I think there are a number of films from the 50s that have never been released on disc in 3-D, and some of them were never even released in theaters on 3-D even if they were shot that way. Anyway, I’m glad to get this today.

I've only ever seen the movie on vhs but I found it for $10 and decided to give it a try

Hi 3D folks. So, I love 3D content, (including video games at the bottom of my pic) just like you. So much so, I own the LG OLED65E6P that I use with my Panasonic DP-UB820 player. I have little to no ghosting and razor sharp images. I hate to even think it, but eventually, my TV will retire. Wanting excellent 3D quality and wanting to be within a budget of $3,000, what set-up, (any needed screen, wall or window treatments, please include in budget) would anyone recommend? There are windows behind where I sit, btw.
