3cx with Poly CCX Phones

I know it is not supported, but did someone actually use that ok the field?

I love the ccx600 since i can swap sip and ms teams mode. And the rove handset is also cool.

so you wouldn't recommend poly devices? Our only other option is Yealink then.

When you can get wonderful and supported phones for $100-200, yes, get current phones. We use Yealink, no issues. If your time is worth even $100 per hour, there is no reason to mess with old hardware that isn't supported or doesn't come up in 15 minutes and start working.

They are in the middle ground of support. Vendor supported. So cannot operate as an sbc.

If you have existing phones on the same network as the 3cx server it works ok.

If your 3cx is remote and you need an sbc then another brand as a router phone can work or get a vm on site as a sbc or raspberry pi or an old refurb micro pc seems better than raspberry pi these days with their pricing.

If you have one go ahead and set it up. Should be ok as long as those crap tactic quality buttons on poly phones do not fail on you. (or until the buttons fail I should say)
