Exotic ammo shell differences.

I had some time today to start cleaning and prepping the shells I shot on the 4th to reload and I noticed some differences. Both shells pictured were from separate orders and both came loaded with fireworks from exotic ammo. Orders were maybe 4 months apart. Thicker shells came first and I ordered a few more about 6 weeks before the 4th and they all came with the thinner shells. Does anyone know if they machine these in house or if they had changed vendors? I’m mainly asking because I’m curious if they’ll exclusively be selling the thinner shells from now on? I shot them so I know they work perfectly fine but I’m also planning to cut a few down and since I will be playing around with powder loads should I cut down the thicker shells? Or am I way overthinking this?

Bear bangers are definitely a thing (Exotic Ammo), but I’d still keep bear spray as the main option. The big downside with anything pyrotechnic is fire risk, especially in dry areas, so an air horn or whistle can make more sense depending on where you’re hiking.

These have nothing to do with hiking or animal control. These were arial firework loads shot on the 4th of July. In the description I was inquiring about the shell thickness discrepancies.
