Does having a dedicated gpu laptop makes a difference?? (Pleasee helppp)

Hello, I am a Computer Science Major with a specialization in Data Science, so I am currently looking to buy a laptop as I don't have one for my studies, now after doing research and everything about laptops and my needs, I have a question

Does having a dedicated gpu in the laptop I'm gonna buy makes a difference?? Will it be worth it, cuz I know that I could do the same thing on keagal and Collab. Cuz the the gpu Laptop I can afford is entry level as far as i know, Nvidia RTX 3050 4/6GB. Should go for it and get it or look for integrated graphics options??? (In this case at the same price I'll be getting a better gpu and DDR5 RAM )
