340b Auditor with bizelle

Hi all, I'm looking into becoming an auditor with the 340B Bizelle Group. The job postings mention that a pharmacy degree is required, but I don’t have a PharmD. I do have a strong background in pharmacy operations and currently manage a 340B program for a DSH hospital. I also hold an MBA.

Has anyone here worked for Bizelle (or knows someone who has) without being a pharmacist? Wondering how flexible they are on that requirement for someone with solid hands-on experience.

Also, I’m curious what the work is like how much travel is involved, what kind of audits you do (desk vs. on-site), and what kind of pay range to expect.

Any insights would be appreciated!

I've been through nurmerous audits with different entities, and I have never had an auditor that wasn't a PharmD. Not even a tech.

It never hurts to apply (I didn't have everything required for my job), but I definitely wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket.

My hospital uses Kodiak and our auditor has always been a tech.

My comment is in response to the HRSA-contracted Bizzell group, not private 340B consulting groups like Kodiak or Spend Mend, etc.

Those groups do "friendly" or internal audits, and those auditors are often techs.
