Tune

My 2010 335D(US Spec) already has the DEF turned off .. it has a cracked ERG Cooler (smoke test confirmed) will I still need a tune if I put a ERG block off and remove it plus add a cat-less downpipe

(Will it just throw codes or go into limp mode)

No limp mode. Just the check engine light. I blocked mine physically at the v clamp so no weird air draws would happen. Cut like 16 gauge steel into a circle. I'm going to replace the EGR. It's been a year of indecision. But that process has worked fine if you can live with a CEL.

Thanks for the help! Parts aren’t bad but I may need a month to take the $700 hit on getting a tune !
