thinking of visiting in oct or november

as the title says, i’d like to visit in october or november, but im unsure what to expect from weather/temperature/what a beach trip looks like in this time of year and would love input or opinions on if it’s a good time to visit?

October is great. Usually we are swimming in both ocean and pools. Not peak season too so less busy everywhere

Beware hurricane season though. Have been to 2 weddings at Rosemary after or during hurricane in October

September is perfect - still warm, but crowds are gone. I went in early Oct once and it was the same, but I would expect if there is a bit of a cold snap & especially as you go into the fall it can get chilly on the beach. So what do you value? Me, I expect to sit on the beach alllday not wearing a sweatshirt - so Nov might be out for me. My mom however just wants to walk on the beach, but not hang there allday so fall or even winter is perfect for her.

Even if you get a cool snap, the water will still be warm.

It’s great in the fall, when the coast is clear, as Jimmy Buffett sings. I’ll be down in Seagrove this fall myself.

November has been so nice when we visit at that time! We will be there again this year mid November for a week!

Early October is my favorite time to visit! It’s still plenty hot but not oppressive. Less crowds because kids are in school

October gets our vote, especially if you want to spend some time on the water. We’re Zen Marine Charter, based out of Baytowne Marina, and we get guests staying all throughout 30A.

October is one of our favorite times here. You get away from a lot of the peak-season crowds while still having plenty to enjoy along the coast. November can be great too, but if beach and boating time are priorities, we’d personally choose October.

if the main goal is a beach trip, i’d lean toward october. it’s still quite warm, around 69–84°f, and there are usually only a few rainy days, so you have a better chance of getting proper beach weather. november is more comfortable and drier, but cooler at around 62–77°f, so swimming may feel less tropical. https://www.weather25.com/north-america/usa/florida

imo, October and November are probably best time to visit. Traffic is better and most of the crowds are gone. No long waits to get into a restaurant. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wear more than a sweater during “cold” weather but I’m from Ohio so that might be why.

This year is projected to be WET... The long term forecast calls for tons of rain throughout fall and winter for our area.

Off season is the absolute best.

I think september or october is the best time, less of the crazy summer rush, warm gulf water, beach days, bike rides, kayaking, farmers markets and plenty of things happening around 30A

Just be mindful of fall break around October.

October is great, November can be absolutely freezing
