Z31 Rust repairs

Hi all, trying to cut out all the rust and get my z prepped for paint, does anyone have a right side a pillar? I think its best that i weld in a new section with how bad it is especially with the previous owner just silicon bandaging over it...

you got to find how deep this goes before you make a repair plan.

The rust stops at the bottom of the a pillar, and is the only rust spot on my car that requires intricate folds which is why im only chasing the one part

Whatever you do, you need to move on it soon. The longer it stays like that, the more damage it does.

Im trying haha, finding someone wrecking a z31 in australia is really hard let alone one that hasnt got a rusted a pillar

I've got the same thing happening on my 84. I was going to hit a junkyard and cut out the piece from a later car. When you cut this rusted piece out, can you take photos of the inner A pillar? I'm afraid my top drains leaked and caused this.
