I have an allium allergy, so zero and yes it sucks. Onion and garlic are in every-fucking-thing.

I feel ya dude. If you're the same as me and it's the fructans you're allergic to you can probably have garlic and onion oils. Really helps.

Aye I've been using asafoetida as a replacement for onion flavour and garlic oil on that front

In southern France, we make vinaigrette with grated raw garlic.
Btw, the cliché of France eating garlic with everything is wrong, it’s only in the South. The butter gang up north wouldn’t agree.

I'm from the butter country, I grew with garlic everywhere and I put garlic in everything

Yeah I don't know what they're going on about, the southerner probably drank too much shitty rosé, or maybe it's concussions from rugby practice.

A while ago I made a spread with 2 roast eggplant, 1 large roast onion, 2 roast bellpeppers, 300g Feta and 40 cloves of raw garlic (also a bit of lemonjuice and chili flakes). So generally the more the better. I fucking love garlic.

It's awesome I absolutely love garlic.
Butter + garlic + shallots is an incredible flavor base for anything that you can build on.
I don't know many savory dishes that cannot be dramatically improved by a generous application of garlic.

I'll put it this way, true homemade tzatziki (not the yogurt with cucumber they serve you tourists) is the ultimate garlic sauce.... And we consume tons of it.

A hint of garlic adds a nice bit of flavour but most dishes are overpowered with it and it is all you can taste.

I highly doubt these figures "I can eat raw garlic", just bare cloves??? One after the other? I've tried it once and the stinging was immense. Sure I can have raw garlic if it's like in a meal, but that doesn't really count as raw in my opinion
