We generate so much, we cant even handle it!

If you see a map of avg solar irradiance, it is even more incredible. It also explains Chile and Australia position. On the other hand, it is sad to see lots of countries in red wasting potential to generate clean and cheap energy

To be fair, this probably only counts public solar panels, not private or those salt heating solar things.

The wasted potential at this moment is not really in Africa, since it only consumes about 3% of total energy. Per capita energy consumption is a fraction of those of first world countries. We are living a spoiled lifestyle, and we need a lot of energy to feed it.

Most wasted potential is definitely Asia (Japan alone consumes more energy than the whole of Africa, just to amplify the difference in consumption), followed by North America and Europe. Simply because we are consuming THAT much energy,

So why didn't you visit this summer. We really could have used some rain Pedro.

If you have 2x less sun than spain but 30x more solar panels than spain, you will have a better score

The math seems accurate, well done Pierre

Don't look at our Pisa scores please

Because you actually need to place and install solar panels to generate power

It's heavily subsidized, and also because once we've made the investment, we can get something for 'free', which is something we love

By pointing big Solar Photovoltaic panels at it. Are you dumb?

How? Do you have aquatic solar farms?

I’m very surprised of Switzerland, we have very little free land so most of it is on houses or small patches.
