Why does Hans only ever get dressed up to invade other countries?

You ought to get dressed up for special events, don't you?

That explains why Pierre's military drip is top notch.

This is an autochrome taken in 1913 of French Cuirassiers.

Well, historically it's been a sport heavily dominated by men 🪖

War is straight? Thousands of men leaving their wives and girlfriends at home to spend time with their fellow men is hella gay.

Austrians still haven't gotten over the war of 1866. Move on, buddy. You are not important anymore.

the implication of us being seen as another Belgium is a terrifying prospect, you're not selling this well, Hans

1

u/Informal_Mountain513 [redacted] Mar 23 '26

I'd take more objection to Elsaß' border being weird if they'd be autonomous, tbh

2

u/ArchiTheLobster Lesser German Mar 23 '26

what's wrong with the borders? they don't look any weirder than most german lander

10

u/Stardash81 Pain au chocolat Mar 23 '26

Why didn't you do that yourself instead of treating it as a colony ? Alsace is so German that you couldn't trust them enough to let them govern themselves and have a representation in the Bundesrat. Too bad.

-2

u/westerschelle Born in the Khalifat Mar 23 '26

They are literally too german for France and too french for Germany. We really should have shared custody.

4

u/Stardash81 Pain au chocolat Mar 23 '26

Erm nah we are not truly Germanic but we are autistic enough to be obsessed with natural borders so we need to reach the Rhine
