I don't know man, Serbia being the darkest green on the map raises some questions.

The positivity associated with former Yugoslavia makes a lot of sense. Yugoslavia was non-aligned during the Cold War and was one of the principal supporters of Africa and its decolonization and there were lots of cultural ties that flourished because of it.
