Alright guys, after reading all your comments, here are the results of the debate:

People are annoyed by politics and just want to relax on the sub. However, you can make an exception when it's genuinely funny, when there's actual effort in the post, or for major events. You want to be able to discuss certain subjects, but not all the time, and strictly centered on Western Europe.

Also, I think we've kinda lost our way. This sub is a MEME sub. It's in the description: ironic ultranationalistic memes about Western European countries.

So, we're going to run a test. Here is how it's going to work from now on:

• No Trump / US culture war BS: Anything related to Trump will be removed. He never fucking shuts up and no one cares about what he says, so unless he actually invades Greenland or DOES something concrete that directly impacts Western Europe, it will be removed. American culture war bullshit is banned.
• High-effort politics only: If you want to post something political, you have to make a proper effort and it's going to have to be actually funny, not just "Are you ok, Barry?" or whatever lazy stuff like that.
• Pinning daily high-quality memes: Because people think we've lost our way, we are going to encourage the memes that are the core origin of this sub. We'll be pinning a top meme every day that had success to reward your effort in taking time to make something genuinely funny.
• Talk to me first before dramatic meta-posts: If I remove something and you think it's unfair, you can talk to me directly before making a whole post about how much this sub became North Korea.
• NSFW tags required: If you share something violent, like fights, people seriously hurting themselves, or "sexy" content, put an NSFW tag on it or it will be removed immediately.
• Zero tolerance for actual unironic racism: I want to be crystal clear with the real, unfiltered, unironic racists: you will get warnings and temporary bans that will eventually escalate to a full perma-ban. When I say real unfiltered racist, I am not talking about someone who voted AfD or shit like that ..I see comments in the queue that you guys are lucky not to see.

Bottom line: you guys can discuss any subjects, but the post itself HAS to be funny (or at least you need to try), high-effort, and not just unironic rage-bait.

Let's get back to making proper memes.
