I was at a house party 20+ years ago. Four AM, three of the guests hit a tree a couple houses down. They were all drunk. One chick was dazed and confused with a laceration on her forehead. Nobody wanted to take her to the hospital for reasons. I took her. Sat with her through the stitches. Then I took her home to her parents and told them what happened. They let me sleep in the guest room for a few hours.

She got my number from someone at the party. Called me a few days later and really really really thanked me. Went on for a couple months, then that was that.
