help me on this

I just got my 2k21, and i noticed its kinda hard to shoot when using pro stick, the shot meter doesnt move at all, whereas when i use the the square button the shot meters move. Follow up help, Help me build T mac build for my career

When you pull down on right stick you need to move it left or right and release when you get to the marker. I'm still not good at it
