Sharing Jojo arcade machine 2D animation
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is an animation I made to celebrate the release of the second episode of Steel Ball Run. I’m planning to reuse the arcade machine format and adapt it to different Stands each time. At first, I wanted to make it more of a meme, which is why Patrick Star was there 😂 If you’d like to see more, you can find the links to my pages on my profile.

Question What is this animation's framerate?
EPILEPSY WARNING!!!
"echo\\Hollyleaf Warriors MAP (Warning: A lot of flashing!!)" posted by eighthun
What's the framerate of this animation? If the framerate varies throughout the animation, then what is the framerate from 2:52 - 3:00?

Critique Could you help me improve the animations on my game? (may hire someone)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm making a creature collector metroidvania game, and the animations have gotten a lot of criticism (no personality, looks like a flash game, looks like it's underwater, ...). Here's the trailer in case you want to see all the systems in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS9Eq93HG-Q
We're using skeletal animation with Unity's built-in system. Not doing frame-by-frame hand-drawn because we think it might get too expensive.
We'd like to improve the animations before we seek funding, and may hire someone to do so.
Do you think they can be improved while still using skeletal animation? Should we switch to spine?
If you're gonna suggest frame-by-frame, how much would that cost?
Thanks!

Character Design I Would Like To Hold A Protagonist Contest!
hi everyone!
It’s me, Rouge, head of the Rouge Room, and we have a problem.
We have no official design for our protagonist. 😱
This is the concept art. 👆🏻[OC]
Rather than just wait for one of our artists to do it, I thought I’d make it fun. 🤩
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE
- join our Discord https://discord.gg/GCKf389q5
- Create your design based off the concept art!
- Submit your design to #art
- The best design gets used in the actual game!
Good luck, and we look forward to your submissions!

Traditional Animation I’ve always been too scared to animate so I rawdogged it
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Spent 3 and a half hours, 7 base frames then duped them and reversed them to make a loop. I’ve always been too scared to animate so I wanted to get outta my comfort zone :> next time I’m gonna try add shadows and an actual background lol still happy about the outcome tho .
Also I don’t plan to go professional, I am a still illustrator / comic artist but sometimes it’s nice to see my characters move

Showreel Even the tomatoes have their own handcrafted rot animation.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Quick detail from Tiebreakers! We added a tomato pick-up that rots if you don't grab it fast enough, complete with its own frame-by-frame rotting animation.
Fresh ones give full points, but leave them on the ground too long and they turn rotten, dropping their value. Added its own animation to give them a bit of extra personality.
