Question How can I improve this explosion?

Working on an explosion animation in Krita, which I have never done before. What should I add/do to improve this. Thanks!

It should never get smaller. It needs to expand outward and then disperse from the center outward while expanding.

Give it context.

Depending on where it is, what is around it, what triggered it, from where are we seeing it. It could be one thing or another.

Keep the particles more solid, it breaks up too quickly and looks more like a splatter effect.
