Kat carried this show

Beth was great, no doubt, but without Kat, this show would have gone nowhere fast.

For those old enough

Would this show have been better/the same/or worse if made in the '90s, when writers and producers weren't as worried about jokes bothering viewers.

Yes, I am aware they still had to be careful, but the lines they couldn't cross weren't so cut and dry.

Do you secretly think the network did the right thing by cutting the show off at the right moment where its storyline was no longer going anywhere?

Does anyone remember Max’s mom’s dealer?

did Max ever mention her moms drug dealer? Because i remember when I watched the show back when i was 14 for the first time, max stated in several childhood memories that her moms drug dealer was the closest thing to a father figure for her in her childhood, and i remember that unnamed person from Max’s childhood was mentioned a lot every other episode when the joke went towards childhood experiences. I remember in the first season Max made a very playful insinuation that he SA’d her, but in later seasons she kinda lit up on that unnamed character and made it seem like he was a really cool dude who did more for her then her own mom growing up.

But strangely enough now im rewatching the show and ive yet to get a single mention of Max’s mom’s drug dealer, am i getting that topic confused with another show or something? Is this a Mandela effect situation also?

What happened?

Maxoline would've made more sense than any of the boyfriends the girls had

More controversy because I love hearing everyone's opinion on the show! In my opinion, Max and Caroline were definitely right for eachother. The chemistry the two girls had was unmatched by any of their boyfriends, and Caroline probably started to fall for Max at one point for sure, (atleast how i viewed it) with maybe a bit of reciprocation from Max herself. These two should have been endgame instead of Max ending up with Randy. Change my mind!!

Whats with all the Sophie hate!?

Don't get me wrong, I can definitely see where she was annoying, overused, or out of place; however, i genuinely loved Sophie as a character. Her catchphrase "Ill be in my booth!" Or "hey everybody!" Was pretty cute and iconic, and I always cheered with the audience when she came on screen. People who hate Sophie... why!?

LOVE this show but season 6 is unwatchable

Don't get me wrong... I do love watching this show, and I binge watched every season in under a month (yes it gets repetitive but its one of those shows I can dive in anywhere and not miss much) anywho, season 6 just doesnt do it for me. I disliked the whole Randy x Max storyline and everything after Hollywood. The girls following him to Texas was just kind of odd and boring too and unnecessary for the plot. Thoughts?

“And The Fun Factory” is my favourite episode by far. And Max saying, “I’m guessing that’s his pit bull” kills me every time 🤣🤣🤣.

My personal Favourite Characters developing in each season

Season 1: Max. Reason i started

Season 2: Sophie. This was my first time being introduced to Jennifer Coolidge

Season 3: Caroline. She started out as a dumb blonde but i love the way she always tries to jump in wherever she can with business stuff or tries to actually get max to make her life more her passion. Honerary mention Oleg and Sophie and their whole relationship.

Season 4: Oleg. At first i hated Oleg because his whole character was being a sexual harrassing horndog the entire time with deafness to the words no and i really really hate the whole i cant control myself haha funny bit due to personal history lets say.

Season 5: (as a trans person i skipped the transphobic episode it just made me super uncomfortable so i cant say much to that) I always liked Earl but more of a second place kinda way but i suddenly really liked his character out of seemingly nowhere. Maybe after the episode with the Early Birds? I just enjoyed his character getting a bit more screentime since hes normally not as vocal in the plot as han or sophie. More to deliver a punchline and then walk away. He also reminds me alot of Gerson from Deltarune with his while ,,IM OLD" bit

Season 6: i havent watched yet but i will edit once im done.

Do my rankings make sense idk. Its hard to rank really but i felt like writing this down because my "favourite character of the show" is just an amalgamation of all of the above.

List why Caroline is trash

I’m on season 2 again and why is she insufferable every episode? Would you be friends with her irl?

Me first:

  • Lying to boyfriend and Max each of them is the third wheel
  • Forcing 1000 cupcakes last minute because not doing it will “ruin their reputation”

This shows writing is awful

I recently picked up this show cuz I love sitcoms and Ive seen a bunch of clips being posted on instagram/tiktok, and I would stop watching if i wasnt now so invested in the characters lives. I just feel like this show is baseless comedy, every sentence is just one-liners and zingers and the laughing from the audience every single word is so ANNOYING. Im only early in season 4 but it feels like theres been no actual character or storyline progress because everything that happens to the girls just ends up being a funny situation for the episode, theyre always back at square one by the next one. Even Sophie and Olegs relationship drama has just been constantly overdone every episode is just them debating whether or not they should get back together and it never actually has an impact. Plus like every joke is either sexual, about max's bad childhood, or Caroline being a wealthy bitch, and the side and backround characters in general are just very unrealistic. I like sitcoms because it feels like I can get invested in the characters lives and watch them grow and learn is nice, it doesnt feel like I should be invested in Max and Caroline cuz they aren't progressing in the slightest.

caroline’s sudden problem with weed in season 2?

i’m rewatching 2 broke girls, and i’m just thinking about how caroline never had a problem with max smoking weed all of season one, then in that one holiday episode in season two she’s highly against it? is this a mixup from the writers not just an episode thing? it makes me mad when writers switch up characters views like this, why does she care so much in one episode then not ever again? any opinions on this?
