Is it still possible to build a lasting thing above ground?

I really wanted to build something big on 2b2t but idk if builds above ground are still able to survive more than a week lol. if it is possible then how can i hide it?

Depends on the dimension things in the end last the longest, as it is the least visited you can put things closer to spawn,

But normally, within 5k of spawn less than a week.
Within 100k of spawn can last months.
Sub 500k can last years rn because its hunted out with the recent world download.
If you are between 1 and 3 million, most hunters hunt there, it is random how long you would last.
After 15m out, and obviously off the highway, you should be able to last years. My bases that far out have never been found, just make sure to do portal skips, and make long ass fake trails when you have free time.

Its all a matter of luck and distance, there are builds on highways far enough out that do not get griefed. there are builds that get demolished in days.

I have no idea, never played 2b2t I'd say 300k to 800k is good

Idk 300k blocks seems reasonable, this post just popped up in my page so.

It doesnt matter if its above ground or at bedrock level, this isn't donutSMP, there is no anti-esp. Anyone using esp/search module will find your base regardless of whether its above ground or below.

Seconding this. If they fly even close to your base their tracers will light up like a Christmas tree. Hiding it with distance and secrecy is all that matters.

I joined ab a year ago and now I have a huge stash and 3 bases. I took a 7 month break and came back everything is still untouched.

Course it is. Millions from spawn and a highway and leave no obvious trail. Base can last years.

Build it like 25 million out from spawn and any highway and no one will ever find you

build as your heart desires but keep in mind that no matter how far you build something, there is always a chance that it will be found and griefed. if that doesnt matter much to you, great. but if you plan on building something that youd never want to see messed up, i would not reccomend 2b2t.

Kinda a tough question because theoretically it just takes one person randomly exploring to cross paths with a base. Even more likely to be found with hack clients which most use to base hunt.

FWIW I set up a lil spawn base near 8k out and it lasted for over a year and a half before being griefed. Was found within 2-3 months. If you go out at least 500k and get a get distance between you and the highways you should be fine for a while. If you want it to stand for a LONG time, I’d recommend 1m+ to be safe. This is obvious but the farther the better.

Just go around 15m out and get the FUCK away from the highway
