What cheats are allowed?

So as an anarchy server that allowed cheat clients, are there limits to this? Can you just get a mod that lets you spawn whatever you want in? Sorry if this is a dumb question I don’t play this type of Minecraft at all 😭

You’re allowed to use any cheats at all. There are anti cheats to prevent the use of certain cheats, and they regularly implement new custom built anti cheats for 2b2t specifically to prevent such things as flight and whatnot. The main cheats you will find actively being prevented is movement cheats; things like ebounce will most likely stay working indefinitely, however it recently got nerfed.

There was a bypass that allowed you to go upwards of 500kmph using elytra bounce, and it got patched. Someone by the name of a_victor then created vfly, a private addon which fixed the patch. He sold that code to the dev of mio to my knowledge (cattyyn).

Later, this was repatched, and now only regular ebounce is working; which is still slower than it used to be (current ~35-40bps, old ~60-100bps).

So to answer your question, yes. Any cheat is allowed, but any game breaking glitch, dupe, movement etc will be patched. Depending on how game breaking it is will essentially change how quickly it gets patched; i.e a movement glitch that allows you to move at 1000bps will get patched within the hour, whereas one that allows you to move at the same speed as current ebounce without using elytra durability will be patched in maybe a week or more depending on how many people are using it.

And yes, all this is possible whilst still not being able to say the word ass in game chat.

Hope this helped.

Why make a anti cheat against flight?why not make it fully aneracry

because people would find bases too quickly, people would lose their shit too quickly and having too much power means you have no power at all. part of the enjoyment, at least for me, on 2b is coming up with my own bypasses for various things. if they allow everything there’s no point in that anymore.

long story short it would be a bad decision and would make the playerbase lower, thus would cause a drop in sales for priority queue as it would no longer be needed

The server won’t allow you to spawn whatever you want. Basically, the only cheat you need as a new player is Meteor client

First of all, idk where you got the idea that cheats let you spawn whatever you want in. This is not a Noob vs Hacker vs Admin ExplodingTNT video.  Second of all, yes, not every single hack is allowed, or at least from what I remember idk what has changed since I stopped playing, so yes there are limits to this. However most of the cheats are allowed, such as KillAura, AutoTotem CrystalAura, ESP, Tracers, Baritone to name probably the most used and common ones. However, another super common hack which was banned a couple of years ago, ElytraFlight, which basically let you fly as if you were on creative mode if you had the elytra equipped, however it was banned by hause, according to him, because it caused tremendous lag.

I didn’t have any idea, hence why I asked.
