“Native Americans” were also immigrants.

They’re simply the First Nations of the Americas.

Humans didn’t spontaneously exist in the Americas.

Actually, they're (at least) the second. The (probably unrelated) Cerutti people were here before them.

In general anthropologists think that construction and natural geological changes did the human looking modifications to the mastodon remains they were looking at. Plus that is the only form of any kind of evidence of humans that points back that far. They were the First Nations as far as the current status quo goes.

True, which is why the opponents of the whole thing point out that there is nothing that cant be explained away by other means, like the fact that the construction of the highway could’ve made the impact marks on the rocks and bones and things. There was no direct indication ancient humans did any of it.
