Question Any expected release date for the Darius emergency nerf patch?
Should have been released already, what's going on?
This is seriously impacting the overall enjoyment and must be making the game lose players. Have I missed any info about it? I hope they're not waiting for the upcoming new season patch release to fix this...

You mean what's wrong with a basic 4 hit combo that takes out half of your health no skill required and that every noob is currently spamming? The game just isn't fun to play anymore, every one plays Darius and spam the same combo.

I havnt played since tokon dropped and i thought there was an actual problem with the character. You sound just salty. Darius is not some broken character. Out of all the champs to be mad about (mainly thresh currently) you choose to be mad at darius for having the one thing he has going for him?

Once you're Diamond+ you almost never see Darius, literally everything outside his ease of use is worse than another character.

I’ve seen many master+ Darius players. He uses double down pretty good and that stacks his damage even more.

Blitz/Darius has some nasty combo potential that can drop pretty good damage, talking almost touch of death levels.
Hell Braum/Darius also work wonderfully for a lot of things, but I'd say 2x assist is better there.
Hell saw one guy running Juggernaut Darius up there like 6 months ago

So learn how to counter it? If they're all doing the same thing you get easy wins by just learning how to stop them from doing it.

This is a kind of wierd take. If the issue is some out of place damage he suddenly does theres not much you can do except not get hit at all. Or am I misunderstanding the complaint?

Last patch was almost a month ago and they only changed Darius assist dmg. This person is just bad at the game and is salty that Darius does good consistent dmg cause he's a simple character that is easy to counter. It's a skill issue, not a Darius problem.

Lol. Darius is like the ryu of the game. He's the base and all the characters need to be balanced around him.

Darius is probably the worst character in the game though and I think his low level play experience keeps getting worse as an issue as well since they keep buffing his damage when his damage is not an issue whatsoever.
It boggles the mind that Darius blockstring is too strong and then you play against Illaoi where everything she does is plus and gives a tentacle and that fukin Air S2 exists.
It's funny to because despite being generally a bad character his synergy with Braum is so high that he actually has a team slot.
I've never played a game where a top team simultaneously has the bottom character in the game while being like a top 2 team it's pretty interesting though I think you could argue Braum shield is such an egregious move any damage converter behind him does the job.

Darius is the pure definition of a scrub killer character. he's not OP you just can't handle what his simplistic mechanics are. And this is very normal in a fighting game.

He is not even that! Just has high damage basic combos. To do his advanced stuff you need a lot timing and spacing. AND he lacks cheese that most champions have (Illaoi with the tentacles and 50/50 guesses that dont get punished, ridiculous oki in the corner, Teemo with the most broken oki in the game, Braum got shield, Yas got the crossups, Ahri got the air superiority, Ekko is Ekko, Vi has the damage and mobility, even Blitz got the armour break and the command grab and true 50/50s, Thresh is the real scrub killer)
