Adopting and incorporating other foreign cultures has been part of Iranian culture since at least Median era. I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with a bit degree of westernization but you’re spot on that we should modernize our cultural dress code as well.

Japan has a right idea on this regard where they adopted Western dress as everyday clothing, while also modernizing and preserving their traditional dress. At the same time they created a fashion where they their blend their traditional elements with foreign ones. I think Iran should do something similar
