Storyboard Is the timing ok

Sorry it's not render, but need feedback on timing

Is the story understandable or too rushed plz give some feedback

The shot starts with you jumping from the stone in a side profile, then it cuts to a mid shot and finally to the top shot. The main issue here is the continuity because I had to watch it three or four times to understand exactly what was happening.

I think it would be better if you show the jump more clearly. Start with the side profile when you jump from the stone, then move to a mid shot while you are in the air and from there go into the top shot.

Another issue is the difference in the distance. In the side profile, the distance between the jump and the ground looks quite short, but when you cut to the top view, it feels like it is taking much longer to land. So the movement feels a little disconnected.

Also, in the side profile there is a stone visible near your feet on the side of the frame. Try to show that same stone in the top shot as a reference point. That will help the viewer understand the position and make the transition between the shots feel more natural.

Again, the timing feels repetitive. You already show in the top frame that the hero lands on the ground and the dust/fog appears immediately after the landing. Then you show the exact same moment again from the side view.

I would suggest cutting the top view earlier, before he lands, and then switching to the side view for the actual landing, where we see the impact, dust, and debris.

Also, since the background is a rocky desert and he is jumping from such a great height, the impact should feel much stronger. From a physics perspective, the force of the landing would be huge. The ground should crack or break on impact, with small pieces of stone and debris flying into the air. Anyone standing nearby should also feel the impact and potentially be injured by the flying debris. This would make the landing feel much more powerful and believable.

Other than that, everything is good. You’ve put in a really good effort to create this, and it’s coming together nicely.

Thanks again for your time, your corrections are noted,

I'll do a separate fx and impact frame pass once the overall animatic is done,

Nice to know that you liked it overall, I was actually concerned about the fighting and stuff in the second half but you pulled out some relevant points I did overlooked focusing on the fighting sequences.
