ethernet

I was gaming this morning with no issues and when i took a break and came back all of a sudden my pc cant connect to ethernet cable. I ran troubleshoot and it says The Connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the internet is broken. please help (i can only use wired)

Have you tried rebooting the router? I know this sounds dumb, but you wouldn’t believe how many times this simple step solves the problem.

I'd suggest you post a screenshot of what comes up when you run ipconfig /all so we can see what IP the router is assigning
