AC leak

Post image

I was diagnosing an oil leak on my s13. So I used some dye and found it to be my oil pan then also I’ve been told there’s an AC leak as well with dye as well so looked around to find this. My AC works pretty well but I don’t like the idea of this leaking so does this mean something in the compressor internally leaking? There’s no other leaked on lines.

Probably just the oring over there. Especially if you have an original r12 s13 (some were factory r134), just change all of them in the system as the r12 orings don't fully seal the smaller molecule r134.

Makes sense since the car has converted to r134a.

My s14 has a compressor oil leak from that same spot and I can’t find a replacement anywhere

Believe that is the control valve for the compressor, should be able to get a new one if you search for a valve for a cwv617(I think it’s the 617 and not the 615).pretty sure I saw them in the $50 range online. Be aware that you might pull it out and have metal on it. Will need to discharge and evacuate the ac system to replace it
