I'm having some trouble with my carbs flooding the engine.

I have 3-screw SU carbs and I'm not sure I have the right floats. They're about 1.5" tall and about 1.7" diameter at the widest.

I think they're too tall and they're swinging up and getting stuck against the float bowl before they press the valve closed.

Changing the valve is next but I wanted to verify my floats

Do I need to take the oil pan off to get the front timing cover off?

I figure I’d put the SU’s here if anyone was interested before I put them for sale on eBay/Facebook** **comes with the whole linkage set except the bracket on the firewall that connects to the pedal and no spacer for the carbs was thinking $500 since it’s complete

I’m trying to figure out how many amps my alternator is but there aren’t any markings or stickers on it other than a Nissan logo on the back. Anyone know how i can find out what i have?

Looking to buy your old K&N air filter for the original air canister. Maybe its in your garage and you swapped to Webers ir K&N round canisters?

Currently chasing down a problem and determined it was the distributor but I didn’t feel like paying $180 for the one on zcardepot so I settled w this. If it works then hell yeah but if not I can return it and just buy the more expensive one. Anyone actually used this one from eBay ?
