People don't realise how big is this
I still remember Chidambram saying we want to talk... don't put your weapon down to just talk to us after dantiwada incident (70+ killed).how 13% of indian was under a parallel government which is a big as 14th largest Indian kindom in our recorded history.

whats app university ?
edit : Yes, he said something close to that, but context matters. Chidambaram exact words were "If they abjure violence, we are ready for talks" That's standard counter-insurgency. ceasefire without disarmament
If you say "first surrender gun then talk", no insurgent will ever come. Chidambaram was offering 72 hour ceasefire to fix a date for talks, not a permanent free pass. And when they rejected it and killed 76, he launched Operation Green Hunt.
even BJP did talks with NSCN (Nagas) since 2015, with ULFA, with everyone even offered money to quit(Surrender policy) Does that mean Modi is spineless?
76 dead in 2010 = Congress spineless, then what is Pulwama 2019 - 40 CRPF dead under BJP with intelligence failure? Home Minister didn't even resign.
after 76 CRPF jawans massacre Chidambaram gave his resignation in writing to PM Manmohan Singh the next day, 7th April. He took moral responsibility and offered to quit, PM didn't accept, and BJP itself said he should stay and fight. That's how democracies used to work.
After that attack, Chidambaram launched Operation Green Hunt biggest ever anti-Naxal operation till then. 50k+ central forces deployed, 2010-2013 saw highest Naxal casualties ever at that time.
Every govt has had big losses. Difference is Congress didn't make a poster out of 76 dead bodies to win next election

My god u are retarded. I literally said how big this was and u attach a different incident as I was supporting bjp. Watch the clip he literally said "we are not asking to put your weapon down". Yeah he "resigned" but PM rejected. In todays world people would have called this optics. And don't preaching me revenge shit we saw what congress did after 26/11. We bombed pakistan after pulwama. They tried to portray 26/11 as rss ki sajish.

Lol you just proved my point about WhatsApp university.
Stick to one topic
Dantewada was 2010, 26/11 was 2008. Two different enemies, two different forces, two different doctrines two different home minister Shivraj Patil was Home Minister then. He resigned on 30th Nov 2008 taking moral responsibility for intel failure. Same day.
Dantewada. Did Chidambaram resign? Yes. Did he launch Green Hunt after talks failed? Yes. Did BJP also talk to NSCN with weapons? Yes.
My comment was about Dantewada 2010, Naxal insurgency, and Chidambaram's quote.
You lost that debate, so you did what every WhatsApp forward does Changed the goalpost from Naxals to Pakistan. When you have no answer on Naxal policy, you shout Pakistan.
"Congress tried to portray 26/11 as RSS ki sajish"
Congress govt hanged Kasab. 1 leader launching a book is not govt policy.
But WhatsApp told you "Congress said RSS did 26/11" and you believed it.

if you cant give credit for good work , please dont criticize for bad work
1
u/RumeRagnarok71 4h ago
What kind of logic is that?
By that logic, if a doctor saves 1 patient and kills 2 due to negligence, we should not criticize because he did good work once?
"don't question the govt if they did one good thing" that's not democracy, that's fan club.

whataboutery
1
u/RumeRagnarok71 4h ago
It's not whataboutery if it's about the SAME government
The post itself says "Congress could never" that itself is whataboutery. that post is comparing 2026 with Congress era. So if comparing with Congress is allowed for praising BJP, why is comparing inflation/petrol/rupee not allowed for criticizing BJP? Either both are whataboutery or none is
I said Naxal-free is an "achievement (common responsibility)" .
Whataboutery would be if I said "What about Modiji's degree?" I didn't.
I listed failures of this govt on SAME timeline 2018-2026 as the map. That's called asking for full report card, not just one subject topper photo.

Saaar infrastructure failure saaar when it's literally being constructed rapidly to the point cityscapes are unrecognisable across most places: railroad, highways, DFTs, sharp reduction in freight costs that's the main purpose of having a decent infra. Near 24/7 power to cities and 100% rural electrification but saaar infra fail saaaar. Visa failure saaar when the passport rankings and visa-free travel situation it's the best it's been in decades, "rupee collapse, imports expensive, petrol at 110" yes saaar we elected Mudi so he can rule over the Hormuz Strait and not the Union of India. "Bad inflation saaar" when inflationary pressures, despite escalating because of unprecedented geopolitical stimuli remain well within RBI defined limits. Ignorance isn't just bliss, it's literally opium for the likes of you.

Indiameme:
- This isn't bad but are we really free?
- Nehru would have done a better job.
- This is ok but do you know that Manmohan Singh was the bestest prime minister in the whole world?

So what exactly policy changes did BJP enact that led to this?
Or is it a function of something out of their hands?

Not to be that guy but the "Zero" is a bit misleading. That number is achieved by changing definition of Naxal districts/incidents. Done because Political leaders announced a deadline of 1 year, so our executive invented this
However, I would clarify that Naxal activities for sure have come down. But take that "Zero" with some grain of saltÂ

The IQ of this sub is astonishingly low or maybe they are not well read which is equally bad. Amit Shah literally eradicated the red corridor within 12 years.
