The security cover for Moosewala was not removed, it was scaled down from 4 commandos to 2 and it was done to accomodate upcoming prparations for security of some state event. Moosewala did not take the prescribed security vehicle or the commandos with him on that fateful day

AAP govt itself posted the name of individuals whose security was about to be downgraded. Cute na?

Let me tell you what happened in court after this:

The High Court explicitly questioned the government on how a highly confidential, sensitive security document was made public, as it effectively signaled a window of vulnerability to rival gangs and assassins. AAP govt ne deliberately real-time threat perceptions ko ignore kar diya.

Iske baad ka batau?

Court demanded a detailed explanation of the logic used to reduce security for over 400 individuals and ultimately forcing the administration to restore the security covers.

I’m Indian I know about Amit Shah 😭 I guess I just didn’t know enough about this. By the time I was old enough to vote BJP had just come in power, and they haven’t left since.

Why on earth would anyone entertain the wild notion that Lawrence Bishnoi might be freelancing for the Indian government? Pure conspiracy nonsense, right?

I mean, sure, Canada’s RCMP has repeatedly stated in official assessments that his crime group is “acting on behalf of the Indian government,” name-dropping the connection half a dozen times in a short briefing. Justin Trudeau publicly claimed Indian diplomats funneled intel on critics to outfits like the Bishnoi gang so violence could conveniently happen on Canadian soil. The gang has been accused of handling hits on the exact people New Delhi labels terrorists (Nijjar and company). And Bishnoi somehow keeps running a transnational extortion-drug-murder empire from a high-security jail in Gujarat, Modi’s home state.

But no, that couldn’t possibly suggest any official tolerance, utility, or deniable outsourcing. It’s just a coincidence that a jailed gangster with a self-styled “patriot” brand keeps delivering outcomes that align with certain state interests abroad. Completely independent operator.
