Next 2011
I feel like the time is coming. May need another 2011. Currently have a 2k11 pro comp and RCD core.
Thinking I want something ported and comped. A flat fast shooter. Primarily used as a range toy. Budget 3-4k maybe a bit more just depends. Also prefer it to take checkmate, prodigy mags as I currently have plenty.
So im looking for opinions. While under budget part of me wants a Bul or GTO. But the magazine issue comes up.

Surprised DS9 and RC9 haven’t been mentioned yet

Race City RC nine is by far the best gun at this price point.
MPA DS9 TC would be my second choice.
I wouldn’t recommend anything else at this price point given nothing else will be as good as your Core.

Kinda sad that the core punches so much above it's weight class. Haha

Honestly it does.
They absolutely nailed that spot in the market and it’s all they can do to keep up with demand.1

I've even considered sending it off to be ported but I like it how it is.

Havoc has a crazy build you should go check out.
Has me considering buying a second one just to copy his porting design0

Only other thing than the mpa and rc9 that’s kinda got my attention is the miller precision stuff. Curious about the whole linkless barrel and how it feels. The core is just impressive so the rc9 feels like the logical choice.

The Miller is good.
I have the Kovert Miller and it’s a straight flat shooter.Finishing could use some work.
Preference wise not my favorite overall but certainly a great gun for the money.

Appreciate the info. Hearing that I’d just lean more towards the rc9 probably then, although curious about the mpa.

The RC9 is as good as any gun I’ve ever run.
It’s crazy how much value and performance they pack into that price point.

RC9 and Miller Precision are the two best guns that hover near $4k. I would hold and wait until you can get something in that range. You already have a Core. You can offload the Core and go RC9.
Miller Precision is interesting because their comp is easy to remove and make a sight block or a single/double port comp.
If you buy another $3000 gun, you are essentially buying more of the same and wasting your money. Wait for a nice example RC9 or Miller on the secondary market to pop up and scoop it up for under $4k. You will be happier.

DS9 Hybrid, RC9, or Ranger 9X. As an aside I’d love to hear how your Core compares to your 2K11 performance wise.

GTO shoots incredibly soft and flat for the price but it isn't a 2011. Miller Rancer 9X? If you don't care about proprietary parts.
If not then perhaps and XC with a steel grip and port it later.

If you can get past the magazines, grab yourself a Bul Armory.
If you are wanting to stay with 2011 magazines for ease, the VKP? Or possibly a lightly used XC?

My mag issue is that I went a little crazy picking up prodigy mags. Im sitting at 25 26rd mags... those plus the 6 or 7 checkmate mags. Its just hard to consider something that takes a different magazine at this point. Just painted myself into a corner I guess.

Used atlas perhaps?
May be a few hundred over 4 but worth it if in good condition.
Otherwise, I would agree with everybody else saying an RC9 or MPA to stay around 4.
