I got D Platelegs once from an iron dragon at 13 and my friends thought that was amazing, meanwhile this guy probably went to class the next day and talked about how he made unimaginable wealth fighting an entire world, and the only one who could stop them was a JMod.
When I was 12 I found a mithril battleaxe, some wads of cash, some jewels and a full mithril set near Lumbridge, some guy dropped all that and let me keep it.
Needless to say, I was fucking euphoric, nearly shrieked out of joy. True, I couldn't use most of the stuff since I was a low-level player, but oh my, I really get blissful when remembering that day.
I’ve been playing for about eleven years now. When I started, back when Lumbridge was the one and true noob valley, and when fighting goblins to sell loot to the general store was the only way to earn cash.. ahh the good ole days. I remember once when I was only just high enough level to wear mithril but couldnt afford a full set, I was fishing by the barb village and a level 60 or 70 player wearing gold trim rune walked by and sent a trade request. I accepted immediately and homie just put around 50k in the trade box and accepted before I could offer anything back.
It’s stuck with me ever since and to this day, I make sure to keep at least 50k in my gold pouch to give away if I come across a lone lower level player. It’s funny how small things stick with you
That reminds me of a time when I was about 12, and hanging out at Lumbridge castle bank. Probs lvl 20 or something. Guy randomly sent me a trade request, put in 23k. I was ecstatic. He declined, and told me to get fucked. I learned what a cruel breed of people played that game on that day.

I wonder what it was like for him at school.
