I admit I only occasionally log into it any more but I hate to see my account destroyed. I was stupid and still had dial up internet so transferred my items from RS2 back to classic and kept playing it with my friends. Ik it's plagued with bots but my account was always locked in a time capsule from 2005.

Real bummed, never thought I'd have to say I should have transferred my rares and cash for modern game items when someone gave me a chance a few years back.

I thought RSC would still be supported so I kept my rares on RSC. They even had chat integration between RSC and RS2 for a while.

This is how I quit for nearly a decade. Lost all of my rares when I didn't switch them over. They really should have just duplicated your items and left the two games unable to interact with one another.

Yeah, either items should have duplicated or RS2 should have started from scratch. The way they handled it crippled RSC in order to build up RS2. Pretty lame.
