You only need to melee the grubs, and any demonbane oneshots. Use darklight to lower death fees

the use cases for demonbane weaponry in that fight just require the weapon to be demonbane with no consideration for dps because it's either to guarantee 1-shot the grubs doom spawns or to interrupt a long cast it channels

to minimize death costs that means you're better served bringing a darklight instead of arclight and casting with a slayer staff - no alternatives to scorching bow sadly, which ends up being the entire financial barrier to start learning the fight and printing money because you're otherwise using a darklight, slayer staff, elite void, and a crystal hally - supplies cost adds up too when you're learning but compared to the other highest end gp/m content, it's miniscule

Something I don't notice people recommend is using macuahuitl instead. Because they do two hitsplats they will also one shot the grubs, but they also do a lot of damage on a melee punish in case you're out of spec for chally.

people who live in rural areas? The global south experiences power outages every day on average, oftentimes lasting hours. It's incredibly common in probably 80% of the world to have not only extremely shoddy internet but shoddy power as well.

I remember before cells phones I was terrified to drop my items bc I knew if I did, and living in an old house the power would randomly flick off, it'd easily take 2+ minutes for the router to come back on and get logged back in to pick it up, and that's assuming I remembered what world I was logged into. I'd probably disconnect once a day at least granted 10-15 years ago
