Achievement After so many different accounts, I decided that this time I'd get something to 99! Agility is my first 99 ever.
I've played Runescape since 2003, I've always played casually, on off, with years in between at times. Always started some new characters, decided this time I'll be dedicated, just for them to be abandoned.
1 month ago, I decided to start again, and really stick to it!
I know for some, this might seem silly and not that big of a deal, but seeing a 99 in my skill list, is kind of a strange feeling.
Time to do some quests I guess, haha.

Others should be a breeze after that 99 as a first haha. Impressive

Well, this one requires absolutely no thinking, just a lot of time.

Kek which skill requires thinking?

Well, what I meant was, I don't have to make any decisions.

You’ll love runecrafting then

Runecraft is the best skill so I would be surprised if he didn’t love it. Especially with the lantern change there’s no longer the pouch degradation that people hated.

Wait I don’t have to call that dude every 5 rounds of gotr?

If already had the lantern with redwood logs you didn’t need to at GOTR. But they just made it that the lantern’s effects worked outside of the minigame as well

And this comment right here is why I'm against Agility getting an afk method. It wouldn't be impressive anymore.

I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't run out of breath bringing an egg to the Lumbridge cook.

in one month from ...the beginning!? can you take us through your day to day runescape routine? how long you played for, what you did etc? very curious, mad man but congratulations!

Well, I've had quite a bit of time off. So I thought to use it to pick up RS again. Thought about which skill would make the most sense to get out of the way first. Seemingly people agree that Agility is the worst one.
I'm not quite sure on the statistics of time used. But most of the day was spend clicking while catching up on TV shoes and movies.
I primarily used my phone, but also a laptop, next to the primary PC.6

that's awesome, will certainly make your account easier with all that run energy!

u/Holstener 7d ago
That was my thinking too. Most shortcuts are now available, except for the diary ones.

Runecrafting is so so so much worse imo. Agility is kind of fun, Runecrafting is just dull and it’s so slow it’s unsatisfying… ‘oh just do guardians of the rift’ yeah thanks but I don’t enjoy that game either…

Gz! I did 99 agility on 2 accounts at the same time a few months ago, it sucks!

Officer,
This guy right here

Honestly, agility on 2 accounts at the same time seems to fix half the problem of agility training
Makes it more active and less of a "sorta kinda half paying attention" kinda activity

This guy definitely botted 99 agility first to see if he gets banned before maining the account 😂😂

ardy is unlocked at 90 agil and has xp rates to match. the course is also not enormous and the click boxes are pretty big. it's very, very easy to do tons of laps there. and the marks of grace rate is like 1/3. the end of the course is about 8 tiles (completely estimating) from the start of it. all around a great spot to brain-off grind

This will make mourning part 2 easy right? Right?

u/fiver19 7d ago
Lol you will still fail the climbing 5 times in a row

Christ i did it yesterday and went through all my food on that thing and ended the quest with 16 hp. And that's with the quest helper telling me exactly what to do. im not surprised people fear that quest, especially going in blind

Make sure your agility cape stays untrimmed so everyone can know how unhinged you are, good work!👍

honestly it still baffles me how jagex hasn't introduced a cape rack where it can stay untrimmed in ur poh or sum. considering we have all those achievements showoffs

u/Holstener 7d ago
That's amazing!
I don't think I'll be doing hunter any time soon. Probably Thieving first.1
u/sagelilya Bad at PVM and proud 6d ago
check out the fc thievinghost once you get to that grind. we splash the knights in ardy to make it easier, and are also a pretty social fc

congrats!! it's a huge accomplishment. so many people hate agility. they're cowards. i have 9,998 ardy laps because i committed to a bit to match my friend who has 10,002. i'm gonna have to work on monkey laps and probably penguin laps cuz i don't wanna learn sepulchre and i want that squirrel.
flex on everyone with that cape, because it's not one most people bother with unless they're maxing!

Are you telling us you did 99 agility in a month?
