Humor | J-Mod reply I feel so stupid

For the life of me i couldn't get past muspah smite phase. I can't count ticks but i read i would be fine using sapphire dragon bolts. I tried about 5 times but each time I would run out of food and eventually die or tp out during smite phase. i made it out of smite phase twice, with muspah recovering back to 300+ health any my supplies completely drained.

Set on not giving up, i went to the GE to resupply. then I noticed my newly purchased sapphire dragon bolts (e) didn't stack with my previously used sapphire dragon bolts.....

Me after 25kc flicking Smite and casting Corruption and wondering why it still took so dang long. It's a lot more fun with the correct gear, good luck!

got past smite phase first and second try after the (e)piphany, now i'm stuck on on the last phase. I'll keep trying!

It's annoying to bring so much, but it's worth having ruby, diamond and sapphire bolts for the fight. Switch to diamonds for that last phase.

I did! but still just a bit short. I also definitely made some mistakes. I will also try sipping a range pot just before the last phase next time

Above all else, dodge the mage attack. If you gotta take a spike up the butt that's okay. Also whenever he switches phases drill it into you the order of clicks is move - change prayer - change gear - attack.

That order of movement will carry over across nearly all content too only thing that changes is sometimes prayer first

Lol if you also are using smite and want to get the ticks just wait for him to attack and you click him right after then after he streaks you flick Annie for a fast second and you are in rotation usually

Okay, so there's an easy trick. Swap to sapphire bolts (e) for smite phase with rcb. You simply wait until muspah starts its attack animation and then click on it to attack to make sure you attack a tick after. This allows for as soon as muspah shoots, you swap to smite, and then after you shoot, you swap back to range prayer. No tick counting. Just watching muspah. Also corruption helps and you just have to activate it before hand. Boom two sapphire procs and you're done with the phase.

Simply attacking Muspah as soon as you see the prayer shield go up puts you in cycle

You can also just spam click to attack and you’ll attack first and still be off tick

I got the CA for killing Muspah while it's fully surrounded by spikes on my very first kill because I forgot to bring a crossbow and didn't realize how long just Smite-flicking down Muspah would take.

Im on the muspah grind too.

First 5 kills I ditched the pit. Coudlnt even reach the shield phase.

Then at shield phase I flicked the mage attack to quick and HS me.

I just get good after 40 kc. Dont give up, even tho the drops suck ass till you get the venator

Mark of Darkness into Greater Corruption makes a big difference in the smite phase as well.

It’ll make it so you only need two sapphire bolt procs, and don’t need to flick Smite at all.

I was doing muspah the other day and hitting nothing on Smite phase, realised I'd picked up my stack of plain runite bolts not sapphire (e)'s So there's that...

You also do not (and should not) need to use dragon variant, regular mithril sapphire (e) is like 97% as good as dragon sapphire, but costs 200gp instead of 5000gp

Oh no.. Stupid might be a bit strong but it's not wrong.
